    The Extended Hands Foundation has been found by a Nigerian actress, director, and producer Stephanie Linus. For now, the organization is established in Nigeria but is hopeful to be very soon operating in the US branch as well. The pure intention with which the non-profit organization has been found is mainly related to the treatment of the VVF condition, vesicovaginal fistula.

    The dilemma which most of the Nigerian women have to face after a prolonged and unattended child labor period ends up in suffering from VVF which not only causes them extreme pain but also great embarrassment in the society as well.

    This is when the founder of the Extended Hands Foundation created a platform which functions with the help of donors, local hospitals, and expert professionals, who gather to help the suffering women in getting a free treatment for VVF.

    The surgeries are mainly carried out at the numerous fistula centers in the country. Each year, thousands of women suffer from the painful and dangerous health condition, obstetric fistula, which is left untreated in 99% cases.

    The Extended Hands Foundation has been to help women in curing their condition, boosting confidence, and reunite with their loved ones whom they had left due to the embarrassing situation.

    The foundation is also known for organizing awareness programs for both men and women about VVF to educate the masses about its harmful side-effects, causes, and treatments etc.
